J. Howard Kucher

J. Howard “Jim” Kucher is a serial entrepreneur and recognized thought leader in social entrepreneurship who has who has secured over $70m in working capital on behalf of mission oriented enterprises. Prior to launching Income For Outcomes, he was the founding executive director of the Entrepreneurial Opportunity Center at The University of Baltimore, where he led the Baltimore Social Enterprise Collaborative and assisted over 60 area nonprofits in developing new models for meeting the needs of their constituents while increasing the sustainability of their organizations.
Kucher holds a B.A. from Kean University and an M.B.A. from the University of Baltimore and has been certified as a Project Management Professional and a New Product Development Professional. He teaches courses in social and commercial entrepreneurship, marketing, management, sales, project management and product development as a faculty member at several area universities; and has been recognized as a Baltimore Renaissance Seed Scholar and an Unsung Hero of Small Business.

Eloise K. Bensberg, CPA
A collaborative, articulate CPA who quickly gets you to the what, why and how of financial information and processes; Eloise has served the financial advisory needs of mission based organizations for over 25 years. Her extensive talents include accounting process design, implementation, analysis and documentation; spreadsheet model development, financial reporting and analysis, internal and external budget preparation & grant and contract management and compliance. A graduate of Hendrix College with a BA in Economics and Business and an Accounting specialization, Eloise has been a licensed CPA in Maryland since 1999.
Kara McKinley Kunst, M.P.A. – Director of Research & Analytics
Kara’s research prowess first bloomed in the biology labs at The University of Maryland. A fortuitous transfer to the University of Baltimore refocused her impressive abilities on the pressing issues facing government and social change, and confirmed her belief that sound analytical thinking is a critical element in the development and implementation of any initiative. Serving at the intersection of Public Policy, Innovation and Civil Society, Kara has delivered deeply perceptive analysis to academia, industry and government for over a decade. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in History and a Master’s degree in Public Administration, both from The University of Baltimore.

Cindy is a highly respected community leader with a solid track record of building bridges between business, government and social sectors. Her diplomatic skills and ability to develop lasting relationships have served her well in roles ranging from financial services to technology to government relations in local, regional, national and international settings. Cindy holds a B.A. from The University of Maryland and has won countless business and civic honors.
